Miss Augusta Scholarship Organization 2008

The Miss Augusta & Miss Butler County Scholarship Organization is a not-for-profit organization, affiliated with the Miss America Organization.  For many decades, they have maintained a tradition of empowering women to achieve their personal and professional goals, while providing a forum in which to express their opinions, talent and intelligence.  The Miss Augusta / Miss Butler County Pageant is the first step for young women of Augusta, Kansas and the greater Kansas area, who are looking to continue their education while enhancing their personal and professional skills. 

As an official Miss America competition preliminary, our entire program is geared to the fact that the Miss America Organization has the largest private scholarship foundation for the women at the local, state and national level.  Our contestants, their parents and the entire community will respect and support our program with far greater enthusiasm if we can provide scholarships for our winners. 

 The  Augusta title is closed to residents of Augusta, Kansas and Butler is open to young women in the entire state of Kansas.
